This Privacy Policy describes how Elias Maier, operating under the brand "FounderOS" ("I", "me", "the operator"), processes personal data in connection with this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. (Czech Personal Data Processing Act).

2.1 Newsletter signup (FounderOS Notes)

When you submit your email address to download a free resource or subscribe to the newsletter:

Data collected: email address, signup timestamp, IP address (for spam protection), email engagement metrics (opens, clicks)
Purpose: sending you the requested resource and ongoing newsletter content
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Retention: until you unsubscribe; you can unsubscribe via the link in every email

2.2 Calendar bookings

When you book an introductory call via the calendar link:

Data collected: name, email, scheduled time, any notes you provide
Purpose: scheduling and conducting the call
Legal basis: measures taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Retention: for the duration of any business relationship plus the statutory retention period afterwards (typically up to 5 years)

3. Cookies

This website does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies required for basic site function may be set; no consent is required for these. If this changes in the future, this section and a cookie consent banner will be added.

4. International data transfers

Beehiiv (newsletter) and Google (calendar) are based in the United States. Personal data is transferred to the US under:

Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), and/or
EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable)

Both processors maintain transfer documentation in their respective privacy policies, linked in Section 2.

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Email is transmitted over TLS-encrypted channels. Newsletter and analytics data are stored on the secure infrastructure of the respective processors.
